Born into the Sankaramanchi family to Sri Radha Krishnamurthy and Smt Satyamani, RaghuJi hails from Vemuluripadu, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his Veda training at the Bapatla Veda Paatashala.
After his Veda studies, RaghuJi served as the head priest in Sai temples across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for over 10 years. He later took on similar roles at Sai temples in New York and New Jersey, US for another decade.
Inspired by his Shirdi Sai Baba devotion, RaghuJi then founded the "Sai Datta Peetham" in Edison, NJ, which was later renamed the "Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple." RaghuJi's vision for the temple is built on four pillars: Satsang, Annadaanam, Education, and Charity. The temple offers free daily prasadam, regular bhakti services and spiritual discourses, a "Gurukulam" program for youth focused on Hindu culture and community service, and bi-monthly charity drives for the underprivileged in the US and India.
Driven by a constant desire to grow and achieve big goals, RaghuJi has undertaken an ambitious "Shirdi in America" initiative. Traveling over 75,000 miles across 45 states, he has brought Sai Baba's padukas to some 2,500 households.
